Email Lists
The SBNA operates five email lists for the benefit of its members.

| Announcements | announcements@sbna.org | Subscribers to this list receive announcements from the SBNA, including Police reports, neighborhood meetings & activities and notices considered of key interest to the membership. This list is read-only - members cannot post to this list. |
| Discuss | discuss@sbna.org | This list provides a discussion forum between the members. Use the list to bring up topics related to SBNA announcements or topics of a general neighborhood interest. Any SBNA member can send an email to this address, and that email will go to other SBNA members who would like to receive discussions on neighborhood topics. |
| Classifieds | classifieds@sbna.org | Any SBNA member can send an email to this address, and that email will go to other SBNA members who would like to receive information including professional services offered by members, recommendations for home repair and maintenance professionals, people seeking or providing work, people with objects to sell or buy, etc. |
| SBNA Preserve Brookline | sbnapreservebrookline@sbna.org | Announcements list covering news, developments and community action related to the proposed expansion at Hancock Village. This list is read-only - members cannot post to this list. |
| Travel | travel@sbna.org | The SBNA Travel list is intended for sharing of information between neighbors that travel for business or pleasure. For example, what’s the best/most economical way to get cell phone service overseas? Anyone flying out of Logan on (date and time) want to share a ride to the airport? Has anyone traveled in mainland Greece? etc. |
Opting in and out of the lists
Logon to this website and select 'Mailing List Subscriptions'. Check and uncheck the boxes to join or leave the lists. Please note that the system cannot tell if you subscribed to the list independent of the website. Thus, it may indicate that you are not on a list, even though you are. If you are on the lists, just check off the boxes to match - it will not subscribe you a second time (unless your website email is different from your original email address used on the lists). If you want to unsubscribe, and it already shows you as not subscribed, join the list, save the changes and then unsubscribe and save the changes. This will then unsubscribe you.
You can also join and leave lists via email:
To join: send an email to [listname]-join@sbna.org (discuss-join@sbna.org, classifieds-join@sbna.org etc.). It does not matter what you put in the email, the contents will be ignored.
To leave: send an email to [listname]-leave@sbna.org (discuss-leave@sbna.org, classifieds-leave@sbna.org etc.). It does not matter what you put in the email, the contents will be ignored.
